Synopsis
A haenyeo who has spent her entire life diving in the seas of Jeju disappears one day while at sea. After hearing the news, her daughter Yujin rushes back to her mother’s house, but unable to bear her growing anxiety, she leaves her son Minho at home and heads toward the shore, clinging to even the faintest hope. Meanwhile, Minho encounters a bear in the storage shed that claims to be his grandmother, and sensing a familiar warmth, he naturally accepts the bear as his grandmother.

Yoon Se-young directed the feature documentary Marianne and Margaret (2017) and has since worked across web dramas, promotional films, music videos, and traditional Korean music performances. In 2025, he co-directed the AI short film The Last Love, which was selected for the CGV AI Film Festival. He is currently developing projects that explore identity and ethics at the intersection of technology and humanity.

KIM Won-mo
김원모
Kim Wonmo majored in feature film directing at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Beyond directing, he expanded his scope to include screenwriting, cinematography, editing, and color grading to establish an independent production environment. In 2025, he co-directed the AI short film The Last Love, which was selected for the CGV AI Film Festival. He is currently writing a screenplay for a feature-length narrative film and continues to develop short films using generative AI.
